Harmonix™ Technology

Harmonix™ Technology is a patented technology which employs a biometric model to determine the patient's eye shape data from their prescription.

The anatomy of the eye has a significant impact on the refractive state. Occular length can vary from one eye to another by as much as 20.5mm to 28mm, or 30% in height (emmetropic eye without visual defect).

Many progressive lenses only take prescription into account when calculating lens power at the distant vision point.

Harmonix™ Technology goes further by taking into account the entire eye anatomy – eye size, shape, and position of its centre of rotation.

Wearers will enjoy a wider and more comfortable visual space.

Principle of Eye Length

It is well known that the anatomy of the eye has a significant impact on the refractive state.

Myopes (Long eye)

Hyperopes (Short eye)

FrameOptimisation™ Technology

The widths of the visual fields are optimised based on the pupillary distance and the frame’s A dimension, bridge length, and shape (oval, rectangle, etc).

Vertical positioning of the visual zones (ie. progressive corridor length) is determined according to fitting height, B dimension, and frame shape. The result is an enhanced vertical viewing space and improved acuity for the wearer – even with shorter frame heights.
